Implementation

From the files you have today to your first week of work in Waiotech.

Implementation isn’t installing software. We put the plant in order together, so real work is recorded in Waiotech from day one.

Your files

Equipment lists, PM plans and parts lists, in whatever shape they are today: messy spreadsheets, paper, or an export from an old system.

Plant structure

Together we lay out the units, streams, positions and equipment: the process view and the physical view.

Clean data

Everything comes together in one commissioning workbook. Each revision is validated and compared with the last, errors are found before anything is loaded, and a clean revision is accepted. It’s then compiled into a commissioning package, previewed, and committed through each domain’s own rules.

PM, teams and access

Maintenance plans, owner teams and access profiles are set up so everyone sees their own work.

Go live

The team is trained and real work is recorded in Waiotech from the first days.

What we need from you

  • Equipment and parts lists, in whatever shape they’re in
  • One person from operations and one from maintenance who know the plant
  • A few hours a week to review structure and data
  • Decisions about teams, and who does what

What you have on day one

  • The plant model with units, streams, positions and equipment
  • Active PM plans
  • Users, teams and access profiles
  • The field app on technicians’ and operators’ phones

After go-live

  • Support that understands the plant context
  • Telling apart software defects, configuration, training gaps and data quality
  • Equipment and drawings completed step by step

Common questions

Our spreadsheet isn’t tidy.

That’s normal, and it’s exactly where our work starts: we put the data in order together, and errors such as duplicate codes or empty locations are caught before anything is loaded.

Parts of the site have weak internet.

That’s what the field app is for. Work and rounds can be taken onto the phone before going out, done without internet, and synced later.

Who needs training?

Anyone who records work in Waiotech: operators, technicians, the planner, the storekeeper and supervisors. Each group is trained on its own work, not on every menu.

Do we have to load all equipment at once?

No. You can start with one area or with critical equipment and add the rest in later workbook revisions.

Where is our data kept?

That depends on the agreement and is settled before we start. For data separation, access and backups, see Security and data protection.

If someone recommended Waiotech to you, the next step is a short conversation.

Tell us about your plant and how you work today, and we’ll show you Waiotech on work like yours.
